**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated clinical professional to provide therapeutic counseling to youth (ages 0-21) and their families. This role is part of a statewide initiative under Children & Families Treatment & Support Services (CFTSS), focused on early intervention to address behavioral health needs. Services are designed to improve overall functioning and foster healthy relationships through flexible, individualized, and family-centered care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for children and youth referred for CFTSS.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with children, youth, and their families.
- Provide ongoing counseling services, including individual, family, and group sessions.
- Manage a caseload of 7-12 clients, scheduling sessions independently while ensuring a 40-hour workweek.
- Offer services in various settings preferred by the client, such as homes, schools, or community locations, and provide telehealth services as needed.
- Travel to client locations, including schools and homes, as required.
- Respond to and address crisis situations for clients.
- Document all services accurately in the electronic health record (EHR-MyEvolve).
- Collaborate with other programs to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
- Participate in meetings related to CFTSS.
- Assist with audit preparation and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule, with potential shifts between in-person and telehealth sessions from week to week.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Must hold a valid LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, or LMFT license.
- Strong engagement skills with children and families.
- Knowledge of best practices in child and family services.
- Experience in child welfare or mental health services.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout NYC to client homes and schools.
- Flexibility to work in both in-person and telehealth environments.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
