We are currently hiring for a Service Technician at a manufacturing organization in Branchburg, NJ.

Pay/Shift times:

Position Title: Service Technician

Responsibilities:

Support the smooth operation of industrial production lines by providing maintenance and repair services to equipment.
Demonstrate familiarity with cGMP standards and their implications for production processes.
Execute repair, preventative maintenance, and daily upkeep of industrial machinery, focusing on processes such as assembly, packaging, and labeling.
Ensure seamless transitions during product changeovers as per standard operating procedures and work order specifications.
Proficiency in utilizing various shop tools to install, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and associated tooling.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of work area, tools, and equipment to optimize operational efficiency.
Accurately document maintenance activities in preventative logbooks and promptly report any deviations.
Fabricate, assemble, and test parts as necessary to sustain equipment functionality.
Conduct thorough inspections of production components and tooling to verify compliance with engineering specifican
Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation and communication tasks.
Assist in managing critical parts inventory and utilize CMMS system for inventory maintenance if necessary.

Qualifications:

Possess 1-3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments, with expertise in the following areas:

Operation and maintenance of high-speed industrial processing equipment.
Troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing analytical assessments.
Understanding of cGMP and OSHA regulations pertaining to manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with handling hazardous waste materials.
Knowledgeable about mechanical and electrical devices.
