About:

One of Medix's best clients, a non-for-profit health system, is seeking to add an experienced IT professional to their team. This position manages multiple technologies in a team environment and involves the design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of a virtual infrastructure and Windows servers. The role also includes maintaining and configuring Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange email, and a data backup system. Additionally, the individual will establish and maintain technical procedures, oversee projects, and collaborate with other staff and vendors. This is an exciting opportunity to support a growing healthcare organization and ensure its IT infrastructure meets performance, security, and business needs.

Responsibles for the role:

  • Manage multiple technologies in a team environment.
  • Design, implement, configure, and maintain a virtual infrastructure.
  • Manage Windows servers and Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services to meet network security and application requirements.
  • Maintain and configure Azure and Microsoft 365, Exchange email, and data backup systems.
  • Establish and maintain technical procedures.
  • Oversee projects to ensure data center server, storage, and Active Directory infrastructure meet performance, security, and business needs.
  • Collaborate with other staff and vendors on projects.
  • Lead advanced projects and special assignments as needed.
  • Process trouble tickets assigned to the Network and Technical Systems team.
  • Provide backup support to Network Specialists, Administrators, and Engineers when required.

Requirements to apply for the role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Required minimum of five years experience in designing, installing, and supporting Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure and Windows services, data networks, rack server hardware, data backups, and virtualization.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Active Directory Roles and Services, Domain Controllers, AD Sites, Forest trusts, PKI, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Print and File services, DFS, WSUS, Office 365, and NTFS and Share permissions.
  • Must have knowledge and skills working with HP servers, network and Windows performance and management tools, as well familiarity with Visio, and MS Excel.
  • Must be familiar with Azure VM's, firewall policies, and virtual networks.
  • Must have an understanding of IP subnetting and firewall ACL's.
  • Must have a minimum of one Microsoft certificate of either MCSE, MCSA, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or Azure Administrator Associate. Comp TIA Certifications also considered.
  • VMWare VCP certificate considered.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently or without direct supervision.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects frequently with conflicting deadlines.
  • Strong problem solving and critical analysis skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation is based off years of experience and in relation to the job responsibilities listed, our range is between $108,609.60 - $135,762.00
