Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Clinician to join our team and provide clinical oversight to a variety of residential programs, including Young Parent Living Programs (YPLPs), pre-independent living program, and independent living programs. The Senior Clinician will work collaboratively with staff and provide leadership to ensure a Trauma-Informed treatment framework is applied across all levels of service delivery.

This position offers the opportunity to develop your clinical leadership skills and work directly with a diverse range of residents and staff. The Senior Clinician will ensure the effective implementation of clinical treatment plans, provide therapeutic services, and supervise interns, while fostering a supportive environment for both clients and staff.

You will split time between our Lynn, Melrose, and Chelsea, MA locations, with Lynn being your primary base of operations.


Responsibilities/Job Duties

  • Review and approve treatment plans and safety plans; ensure timely program implementation and clinical assessments.
  • Provide group and family therapy, and deliver interim individual and family therapy services as needed.
  • Lead staff training to implement clinical treatment programs and conduct monthly training sessions.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model in the milieu, providing support during crisis intervention and everyday interactions.
  • Participate in leadership team meetings and attend leadership training.
  • Supervise BSW and MSW clinical interns, ensuring learning goals are met.
  • Manage documentation in a timely, professional manner, adhering to agency standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for crisis management and clinical support.
  • Consistently meet professional license requirements and continue professional development.
  • Provide support during critical moments and crisis situations within the program.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work or a related field required.
  • Experience: Experience in clinical practice with youth or families in residential or similar settings.
  • Licensure: LICSW or LMHC preferred. Candidates with LCSW working towards LICSW are also encouraged to apply.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must have a vehicle and be willing to travel between locations.
    • Must be able to work effectively in different cultural settings and with diverse populations (LGBTQ, youth, etc.).

Job Requirements:

  • Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
    • LICSW or LMHC preferred; LCSW candidates working towards LICSW also considered.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and handle flexible work hours.
    • Experience with assessments and documentation protocols.
