Overview: Medix is hiring for a Self Pay Collector in the Tampa, FL area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collecting past due bills from patients
• Responsible for posting the payments
• 200 calls roughly a day

Requirements:

• Physician/Hospital self pay collecting experience, preferred

Shift: Monday 8am-6pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8am-5pm, and Friday 8am-4pm

Compensation: $17-$19 per hour, depending on experience

Benefits:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
