Position Overview:

We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team, assisting Dr. Lacompt in providing exceptional care to adults and adolescents with special needs. In this role, you will follow the physician from patient to patient and assist with accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to remain sharp and professional, especially when working with individuals with special needs. Some clinical work may be required as part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the physician from patient to patient, documenting information into the EMR.
• Assist the physician with clinical duties as needed.
• Ensure all patient information is accurately recorded and updated in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and understanding in the special needs environment.
• Work closely with Dr. Lacompt in a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Provide support in managing patients with complex special needs, ensuring a comfortable and compassionate care environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Scribe experience: Previous experience as a medical scribe in a clinical setting is essential.
• EMR experience: Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and the ability to document accurately and efficiently.
• National Certification: Certification as a medical scribe is required.
