Job description

Job Title: Scope Tech

Job Location Details: Outpatient Endoscopy Center

Client Location: Wellesley, MA

Work Location: Onsite

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

  • Perform decontamination, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient central processing area.
  • Inspect instruments for any damage or defects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Operate sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and other processing equipment according to protocols.
  • Ensure all instruments are transported to the processing room in securely closed containers.
  • Assist providers with procedures as needed to support patient care.
  • Rotate duties every two hours between sink work and procedure rooms to maintain efficiency and prevent monotony.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 6 months - 1 year of previous experience in a similar setting (outpatient, surgery)
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Willingness to do physical labor

Schedule/ Shift:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays - 7am - 5pm (3 10hour shifts), option to pick up additional day to get to 38 if desired but not required

Option for every other weekend as well (not mandatory but is x1.5 pay)
