Job description

Overview:

Join our pharmaceutical team as a Scientist II - QC. This is a 3-6 month contract position with a potential to go on permanent. You will perform testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished pharmaceutical products. Ideal candidates will have a background in pharmaceutical raw material testing, including experience with analytical techniques like UV/FTIR and Karl Fischer reagents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products, following SOPs and specifications.
  • Using techniques like IR, UV-Vis, and chromatography
  • Prepare and analyze samples, ensuring proper cleanliness and adherence to procedures.
  • Maintain accurate lab records, document analysis steps, and report results promptly.
  • Support method transfer and validation protocols as needed.
  • Support method transfer and investigations of out-of-spec results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in testing chemicals or pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience with GMP environments and analytical instruments.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
