Job description

An Oncology Clinic in Spokane, WA is looking for an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to
provide immediate support to their daily operations. The Scheduling Coordinator in the
Oncology Clinic is responsible for providing coordination of the provider's clinic, procedure,
and infusion schedules. This is an advanced clerical position working in a clinic with multiple
providers and support staff.

Overview:
● Checking in patients for clinical appointments and operative procedures
● Scheduling office visits for patients and their respective provider
● Helping manage the clinic in basket - passing along messages to providers
● Answering the main line and providing telephonic scheduling support
● Scheduling for chemotherapy sessions, infusion sessions, and office visits for providers
utilizing EPIC
● High volume, 20+ patients/day
● Once trained, will assist in scheduling more complex appointments such as imaging,
court placements, scans, and admit to hospital for procedures


Required Skills/Qualifications:
● 2+ years previous scheduling experience/admin experience within the scope of
Healthcare
● High School Degree
● EPIC Experience


Nice to Have Skills:
● Previous Oncology Experience
● General Computer Skills
● Specialty Scheduling Experience


Soft Skills:
● Positive attitude
● Adaptability


Schedule:
● Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM


Length:
700 Hours (contract-to-hire)
