Job description

Actively Hiring Full Time Remote Medical Schedulers! $18/hr

Must be able to work in Eastern Standard Time Zone

Hours/Shift Options

  • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Answer and manage incoming calls related to patient scheduling
 Manage patient appointments per standard scheduling policies and procedures
 Place and receive phone calls to facilitate an effective scheduling function
 Maintain relationships and effectively communicate services with patients and
family members
 Adhere to determined SLAs
 Escalate scheduling concerns and issues, both internally and externally
 Adhere to patient confidentiality policies and procedures
 Attend required meetings and in-services
 Collaborate with manager, teammates, and other employees
 Perform other duties as required
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
 High School Diploma/GED
 Excellent customer service skills
 Knowledge of practice protocols to assist in scheduling patients for care
 Skill in maintaining department quality and control standards
 Computer skills and ability to learn new systems
 Ability to adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
 Ability to communicate in an empathetic, compassionate, and professional demeanor at all times
 Ability to problem solve and arrive at practical solutions promptly
 Skill in teamwork and maintaining relationships with patients, caregivers, and co-workers
 Ability to work a computer screen and utilize a phone system for extended periods
