DURATION: 6 MONTH CONTRACT TO DIRECT HIRE into Baptist Medical Network/Tenet healthcare

Pay Rate: $30-$40/hr + Full Time Benefits (Based on Either an LVN or RN experience)

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
• Adheres to the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement.
• Demonstrates support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program by being knowledgeable of compliance responsibilities as expressed in the Code of Conduct
• Daily Duties: Mostly admin work/triage. The LVN or RN will have a MA doing most of the clinical work, but will need to jump in if things get busy/they are understaffed. Prepping patients verbally for procedures, correspondence between patients/provider/hospital, diagnostic exam resulting, scheduling patient procedures, answering patient questions, medication refills, medical histories, EKGs, disability and cardio clearances, etc.
  • Needs to understand how blood thinners work and when a patient is out of range
• Hours: 8-5, M-F
• EMR: Athena
• Certifications: BSN, BLS, Texas State License
• reliability, attendance, and attention to detail is very important
• Experience: 2+ years of experience
• Doesn't have to have Cardio experience but it is extremely helpful if they do - CVU, ICU, Telemetry, out-patient cardio
• Bilingualism and Athena is a huge plus
