Job description

(This is NOT a travel, short term, or part time/PRN position)

Home health Organization
Location: Aurora
Schedule:

- Different shift options - no nights

(Normally finished with visits by 4pm - finish day charting and planning at home)
Pay : $32-42+ ( based on experience)
- 67 cents per mile (adds about 300-400 per paycheck) + Dental, vision,medical benefits & PTO
- (sat/sun) +$3.00 weekend differential

About/responsibilities :
- Start and End your day at home.
- RN's start huddles each morning at 8 AM at the facility to go through patients for the day & prep CNAs, LPNs & other staff
-Conduct regulatory assessments of participant, report changes to provider & work to change care plan if needed
-Regularly conduct reviews on CNA's & LPN's- This will consist of going to the participants homes & asking how the CNA/LPN is performing during home-visits to evaluate performance
-May have to assist with ear lavage's, fingersticks for blood sugar, wound care, patient education on inhalers, measuring and applying compression garments, etc
- Reviewing, planning & making care plans alongside the provider
- After fully trained, about 4 to 8 visits per day average
- Once you finish your last patient or assesment you will head home or to the facility & finish charting, care plans, reviews etc (This time may vary if the team is at any point understaffed)

Must have:
-Compassion for elderly people
-Active RN license in state of CO (open to new graduates)
-BLS
-Valid drivers license, vehicular insurance & reliable vehicle
-RELIABILITY, DEPENDABILITY & LEADERSHIP
