Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Rheumatologist to join our esteemed medical team in Oklahoma City. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases and musculoskeletal conditions, contributing to our commitment to provide exceptional patient care.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:

    • Diagnose and treat patients with a variety of rheumatic conditions such as arthritis, autoimmune diseases, musculoskeletal pain disorders, and osteoporosis.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, utilizing a combination of medication, physical therapy, and other interventions.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Clinical Duties:

    • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
    • Conduct thorough patient examinations and detailed medical histories.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Administrative Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous enhancement of clinical protocols and patient care standards.
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in rheumatology through continuous education and professional development.
  • Educational Involvement:

    • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
    • Mentor and train medical students, residents, and other healthcare staff as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Rheumatology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Dedication to ongoing learning and professional development.
