HIRING A REMOTE REVENUE RECOVERY SPECIALIST ROLE!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, start time between 6:30-8:30 AM EST

Pay: Between $20-$25.80/hr depending on experience and qualifications

As a Revenue Recovery Specialist, you will be exposed to the complex reimbursement methodology between hospitals and insurance companies. Recovery specialists work closely with assigned project teams on the specialized retrospective recovery process. You will be exposed to various payers, clients, and systems. This position will investigate claims, follow up with payers, collect the insurance accounts receivable, escalate stalled claims and other related activities that enhance revenue collection for our clients.

Day to day:

• Daily progress towards weekly and monthly goals. These goals are specific to the projects the RRS are working on and will fluctuate
• Typical day could be drafting 5 appeal drafts, 5 phone calls, 15+ other accounts - researching and auditing
• Quality based role not quantity
• Typical volume - 100-150 accounts/weekly, 20/day - project specific

Must Have Qualifications:

• Understand contracts and price claims - reading and interpreting contracts and manually pricing the contracts
• Strong computer and technical skills; excel, EMR experience, other...etc.
• WFH/remote set up and work experience

Benefits:
