A Revenue Cycle Management company in Lewisville, TX is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Clerk to support their team as a Correspondence Support Specialist.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort and distribute incoming mail; gathers outgoing mail; prepares mail/packages for overnight/expedited delivery; picks up and delivers documents, supplies or other department-specific materials
• Answer telephone to respond to general inquiries concerning department activities and operations by referencing established procedures manual; routes calls to appropriate person
• Provides routine to intermediate-level word processing/report production activities for assigned department, including creating/updating moderately complex forms, word documents, spreadsheets, charts/graphs, databases, communications, reports and other tools of similar level and complexity
• Pulling patient records from portals
• Create/send faxes and certified mail to payers

Hybrid Expectations:

• Monday-Thursday onsite, Friday work from home day.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle experience
• Payer knowledge
• Administrative skillset
• Computer proficiency
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST

Pay: $18-21 per hour depending on experience

Length: 1040 hours/6 months Contract Opportunity with Medix (possibility of long term employment following).
