Job description

Overview: Our client is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst with a strong background in medical insurance and/or healthcare billing and collections who will report to the AVP of Revenue Cycle.

Responsibilities: Plans and directs insurance documentation, workloads, and data processing to ensure accurate billing and collections
Responsible for the insurance/school/other contract renewal process under the direction of the AVP of Revenue Cycle; including amendments to fee schedules and contract terms
Maintains contact with other departments to obtain and analyze additional information needed to document and process accurate billing, minimizing the denials received by the collectors
Acts as a neutral party to select and prepare monthly audit report for Revenue Cycle Directors
Acts as point person for system implementations for existing and new clients

The position will have mandatory training for 2 weeks followed by a 90 day onsite probationary period. Talent can switch to a flexible hybrid schedule once these requirements are met.


3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
2-3 years of Medical Billing experience in a healthcare setting
2-3 years of medical insurance collection experience in a healthcare setting
Nice to Have Skills
1-2 years of revenue cycle analyst experience
Experience in CPT and ICD-10 coding
Familiarity with medical terminology
Basic Excel/Computer knowledge
