Job description

Title: Residential Counselor

Position Summary: We're seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented professional to support adults with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse in a structured residential setting. You'll be responsible for monitoring residents' activities, providing one-to-one supervision, and ensuring their safety during community outings. Skilled in supporting daily schedules, group activities, and emotional support, you'll also handle transportation and documentation with care and accuracy. With a focus on de-escalation and advocacy, you'll make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Day to Day:

  • Monitor the whereabouts and activities of all assigned residents at all times.
  • Provide one-on-one supervision, maintaining constant observation during the assigned period.
  • Follow clients leaving the premises until additional assistance can be provided.
  • Support the daily residential schedule, assisting with chores, cleaning, meal service, laundry, groups, and activities.
  • Transport residents to community outings and meetings safely and legally in the company vehicle.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, record-keeping requirements, checklist tasks, and assigned documentation.


Qualifications:

  • H.S. Degree or GED required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for insurance coverage for driving the company's vehicles.
