Job description

About The Role

The Research Associate, Formulations will be responsible for preparing dose formulations and other study-related materials in compliance with GLP and other relevant regulations. This role includes managing test/control article receipt, tracking, return, and disposal. Additionally, the Research Associate will oversee laboratory supplies and cleanliness to ensure a compliant and organized laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory tasks while maintaining a clean, professional workspace in accordance with laboratory standards.
  • Contribute to data collection during research projects following SOPs and study protocols.
  • Carry out routine procedures including sample receipt, sample disposal, and basic dose preparation.
  • Conduct general housekeeping tasks like daily maintenance of lab equipment and inventory management.
  • Ensure data meets quality performance standards. Work with integrity, verify data accuracy, and address any deviations or edits promptly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with experience in a research or clinical setting; or high school diploma/GED with one year of relevant experience.
    • A background in Chemistry or Biochemistry is highly preferred.
  • Ability to perform medium work, including moving objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated collaboration, ethical conduct, and integrity.
  • Ability to adapt, focus on customer needs, communicate effectively, and actively listen.
