Research Associate (Chemistry)

Job description

Key Responsibilities
-Perform synthetic organic chemistry tasks, including peptide synthesis and column chromatography, to produce and purify compounds
-Prepare, execute, and document laboratory experiments and workflows with a high level of precision and adherence to protocols
-Analyze synthesized compounds, with experience in analytical chemistry methods as a supplementary skill
-Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deliver on research timelines
-Maintain laboratory records, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces

Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or closely related field
-Hands-on experience in synthetic organic chemistry
-Proficiency with peptide synthesis and column chromatography techniques
-Familiarity with analytical chemistry methods
-Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
