Are you a detail-oriented and driven professional with experience in revenue cycle? Medix is hiring a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist that understands the billing process and optimizes revenue collections!

Location: Fully Remote

Position: Full-Time

Job Overview

As a Revenue Cycle Specialist you will be responsible for the entire revenue cycle ensuring every account is managed from start to finish. Your role is important in understanding the full spectrum of the billing processes and is able to accurately, effectively, & productively handle all processing of 3rd party billing while creating innovative strategies to overcome challenges and maximize revenue.

  • Process and Billing Management
  • Manage and Maintain Documentation
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Denial Management
  • Record Keeping

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of experience in accounting, administrative tasks, billing, or record keeping
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in various office equipment and software

Must-Have Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the revenue cycle, with experience managing a full patient account cycle
  • Behavioral health billing experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare billing for Pennsylvania is helpful
