Job description

Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree

Certifications:

  • Active BLS certification
  • RRT in Missouri

Skills:

Effective Written Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Oral Communications, Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)

Pay - $28 to $31 an hour based on prior experience

Volume: Fast paced environemnt, 60-100 a day

Training: takes 3-4 weeks

Hours / Lunch breaks: Mon-Fri 7a/7:30-4p (mostly likely 7:30a-4p), 30 min lunch

Dress code: solid scrubs (black or red)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and calibrates PFT equipment.
  • Collects test samples, performs initial test analysis and advises staff on findings.
  • Performs tests according the American Thoracic Society Guidelines.
  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
  • Assists in process billing, data entry/maintenance and lab equipment care/maintenance.
