Job description

Job Description: Please note, this RN will mainly provide injections, infusions are less common in this role and will mostly be only a few times a month where you will provide infusions for patients.

  • Assist urologists with patient assessments, exams, and treatments, ensuring high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
  • Administer medications, IVs, and injections as prescribed, and monitor patient responses.
  • Educate patients and their families on urological conditions, treatment plans, pre/post-operative care, and medication management.
  • Coordinate diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, CT scans, and urodynamic studies, as well as review and explain test results with patients.
  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures, assist during surgeries as needed, and provide post-op follow-up care.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic medical records system.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Education/Expereince Requirements:

  • Previous Urology/Oncology Experience
  • Licensed RN (KS & MO)
  • Experience giving injections/infusions

Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday Day Shift
