Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a full-time mid-shift position. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless patient care during one of the busiest times of the day. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, this position is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including triage, assessments, and vital sign monitoring.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, lab tests, and specimen collection.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Support providers during medical procedures and examinations.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Ensure a clean and safe clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Nursing experience in urgent care, emergency room, or similar fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems and basic medical equipment.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- BLS certification required.
