Job description

Exciting Opportunity for Experienced RN looking for Weekday position! No nights! No Weekends!
Primary Care Facility working with ages 65+

  • Typically only 1 RN at most sites
    • Must be comfortable being solo in this way
    • Must be comfortable working closely with Medical Assistants to ensure smooth patient process
  • Role is mix of Bed Side Care and Triage
    • Bed Side Care: Putting in IVs, setting up monitors, administering medications, etc.
    • Triage: patients call in before going into the ER.
      • RN Screens patient over phone and makes decision to bring in for Same day appointments or have them go to ER based on severity of problem
      • Most of RNs day is seeing Same-Day appointments, most of this will be care that a provider is not required to be there for, but providers are available.
    • Other piece is education to patients (information on diabetes, other diseases/chronic conditions to ensure they understand care required outside of clinic)
  • RNs must have recent bedside experience

Education and Experience:

  • AA/AS degree in Nursing required; BA/BS degree in Nursing (BSN) or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • A valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of employment required.
  • A minimum of 5 years', current direct nursing/medical work experience required.
  • Work in a community-based clinic, public health department or specialization with the senior population preferred.
  • BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
  • A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions in a matrixed organization.
  • Proficient PC skills.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $70,000 - $88,000 plus bonus!!
