Job description

Medix is currently hiring a Registered Nurse RN for a direct hire position within a not for profit, faith-based organization specializing in pregnancy care for women.

  • Full time, M-F 9a-5p and every other Saturday from 8a-12p.
  • Supports clinic locations in Glen Ellyn, West Chicago, Wood Dale, Elmhurst and Darien.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform limited ultrasounds while gathering and analyzing clinical data
  • Maintain a warm, caring atmosphere for patients
  • Keep accurate records on file and perform client follow-up care plans.
  • Provide education for clients to develop an understanding of their health condition and pregnancy options
  • Aid consultants as they engage in significant conversations with clients
  • Office upkeep such as ordering supplies, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, etc.
  • Assist with staff development such as oversight of the medical team, recruiting and training, communication of procedural updates.

Requirements:

  • Current active credential as an RN or RDMS with good standing with the ARDMS or a licensed Registered Nurse by the state board of professional registration.
  • Dependable, organized, flexible, teachable, team oriented, self-starter, administrative ability, responsive and able to work well with other team members.
  • Respects confidentiality, maintaining HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong computer skills and skilled in problem solving
  • Exhibits consistent timeliness and willingness to float to clinic locations
