Registered Nurse - Recovery/PACU
Direct Hire / Permanent
Spokane, WA (free parking)
Salary range: $79,000 - 120,640 DOE
Shift: 7:30/8am - 4/4:30pm
Facility hours: Monday - Friday 8a - 5p

Overview
Provides individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in the recovery area in accordance with physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, legal aspects of current nurse practice within the state and the Center's policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
Assesses, evaluates and accurately records patient's post-anesthesia status and provides supportive care during the post-procedure phase. Maintains accurate and complete medical records.
Initiates emergency measures as indicated
Administers medications in accordance with physician's /anesthesia's orders.
Accountable for administration of drugs, IV procedures and other therapeutic measures in a safe and accurate manner.
Provides a safe environment for the patient to prevent potential injury. Investigates and intervenes in problem situations, reporting appropriate information to supervisor and documents same.
Maintains recovery room information logs: cases after 6pm, case type/temp/hair removal/CMS codes.

Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
18-24 Months Experience, Unit or Critical Care Experience
Active RN License in the state of Washington
Current in CPR/BLS and PALS/ACLS
