Job description

Job Title: Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Portland, OR

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our occupational health team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive health services to employees, promoting workplace safety, and facilitating injury prevention programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-employment health screenings and assessments.
  • Administer immunizations and perform tuberculosis (TB) testing as required.
  • Provide treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with employers to develop and implement health promotion initiatives.
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for injury prevention.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding health-related concerns and inquiries.
  • Participate in workplace safety committees and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in occupational health or related field.
  • Proficiency in conducting health assessments, administering vaccinations, and providing emergency care.
  • Strong understanding of occupational health regulations and best practices.
