Job Title: Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Norcross, GA

Schedule- Monday- Friday 7a-4p

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and safety of employees within our client organizations. As an Occupational Health RN, you will collaborate with employers, employees, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality healthcare services and promote occupational health and safety practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

* Providing nursing assessments, treatments, tracking, follow-up, referrals and
emergency care for health conditions, injuries, and illnesses consistent with health
services and case management protocol.
* Assessing and referring to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), medical plan
or other appropriate sources for employees dealing with health, work, stress,
emotional and/or substance abuse problems.
* Maintaining HIPAA and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
compliance standards.
* Comprehensive knowledge of case management, emergency first aid procedures
and nursing practice, clinical skills, including guidance and counseling that meets
the needs of employees.

* In-depth knowledge of company programs, policies, and procedures to make
appropriate decisions and referrals.
* General knowledge of state-of-the-art health and medical issues to provide
resource information to employees and management.
* Knowledge of medical services and other community resources to make
appropriate referrals and appointments as needed.
* Good communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking and negotiating skills with an
ability to develop trust and rapport with employees, departments, and the
management team.
* Providing or managing the required physical evaluation programs and services to
meet regulatory requirement, such as OSHA, Department of Transportation, CDC,
etc.
* Assisting with the accident investigation program to identify root cause analysis
of all incidents and near misses.
* Assuring the appropriate access and utilization of healthcare services.
* Evaluating and treating all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional
manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines
* Assessing healthcare needs, then implementing and managing healthcare
programs to improve health and facilitate return to work, while maintaining OSHA
records/ reports and worker medical files
* Collaborating with Environmental Health and Safety, Operations, and Human
Resources to develop operations, programs, and services by providing content
expertise.
* Contributing to the design of controls for injury prevention and health
surveillance related to actual and potential hazards in the work environment.

Education and/or Experience

* Active state nursing license as Licensed Practical Nurse.
* Nursing degree required and certification in occupational health nursing or case
management preferred.
* Basic understanding of federal and state regulations applicable to occupational
and environmental health and safety.
* 3-5 years' experience in emergency, urgent care, or an occupational health
setting.
