Job Posting: Triage Nurse

Position Overview: Join our team as a Triage Nurse, where you will play a critical role in managing a busy triage call line with limited direct patient care. This administrative nursing position focuses on providing exceptional patient support primarily over the phone and through EPIC, with occasional in-person injections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a busy triage call line, answering patient questions, and providing appropriate guidance.
• Update patient profiles and document conversations in EPIC.
• Triage patient symptoms and provide education, scheduling in-office appointments if necessary.
• Recommend ER or Urgent Care for serious issues or manage the situation through other means with follow-up assessments.
• Escalate patient questions to providers and communicate via the portal as needed.
• Process prescription refill requests.
• Administer injections as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery in a hospital setting.
• Active BLS certification.
• Maryland RN License.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay:

• $40-45/hr
