Job description

Medix is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for service provider in San Diego!

Shift: Mon-Fri (8:30am-5pm)

Pay: $50.00/hr + Benefits

Location: report to headquarters in San Diego, then provide nursing services to 2-3 residential facilities in Santee - mileage reimbursement provided

Population: patients with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities

Requirements:

  • Valid CA RN License
  • Personal vehicle, valid DL, and auto insurance
  • 1 year of experience providing patient care to those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities

Duties:

  • Follow up on medical appointments
  • Complete General Event Reports (GERs)
  • Manage Medication Administration Records (MARs)
  • Review lab results
  • Coordinate with medical transporters to discuss doctors' appointments
  • Conduct rounds to 2-3 residential facilities owned by the client, patients receive weekly visits
  • Administer injections
  • Perform assessments
  • Ensure clients adhere to medical notes and instructions
