Job Overview

We are seeking a Chemotherapy Infusion RN to join our expanding team in North Spokane and Spokane Valley, Washington. We provide high-quality, individualized care to oncology patients and are looking for dedicated individuals eager to make a positive impact within the practice and the community.

Position Summary

We are looking for an RN to support our physicians with patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, commitment to our community, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chemotherapy Administration: Safely administer chemotherapeutic agents following ONS standards. Ensure accurate and safe disposal of biohazardous waste.
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct ongoing patient assessments.
  • Documentation: Document treatments in OncoEMR and ensure appropriate charges are captured.
  • Patient Interaction: Educate patients and families about medications, side effects, and treatment courses. Interact professionally and compassionately.
  • Telephone Triage: Prioritize and respond to calls and messages from patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Supply Management: Assist with inventory and restocking of medical supplies.
  • Medication Management: Dispense medications, perform cycle counts, and restock as needed. Enter patient charges accurately.
  • Meetings and Training: Attend safety/OSHA training and mandatory staff meetings. Assist in training new employees.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all patient and employee information.
  • Compliance: Adhere to federal and state laws and company policies.
  • Flexibility: Work at any location to meet business needs.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of employment. New grads are welcome and oncology expereince is not required
