Registered Nurse

This nurse is traveling to their 3 group homes. Fully in person and assessing patients and treatment plans. Reimbursed for driving!

-Travel between three group homes
-Have the ability to coordinate patient care plans and diagnose
-Analyze forms to make sure that they are accurate
-Provide supervision over direct care staff and provide therapeutic and other nursing procedures
-Consult with interdisciplinary team to discuss findings
-Read PPD's and document findings including date, measurement, and signature.

-Review forms for accuracies and discrepancies.
-Review data collection, charts, and vitals
-Document findings, treatment and results in on-going nurse notes as needed and as per standards of care.
-Control of communicable diseases and infections through; identify/assess; Reporting to medical authorities if needed; use of appropriate protective and preventive measures
-Training of staff, which includes; detecting signs of illness or dysfunction that warrant medical or nursing intervention; basic skills required to meet the health needs and problems of the residents
-Review records of each resident on medication for potentially adverse reactions and allergies. Advise the physician of any recommended changes.
-See around 20 patients a week - must see all at least once a week.

Facility open 9am-6pm Everyday

You get to pick and your days, hours, just 8 hours a day, 40 hour weeks!

Qualifications:

RN license in NY

NY drivers licence

IDD population experience preferred
