Overview: Medix is actively hiring for several Registered Nurse openings in Sarasota, FL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing patient rooms and rooming patients
• Stock and prepare rooms for procedures or exams
• New patient consults & follow ups
• Wound care and post-op care
• Triage patient calls as necessary
• Prior authorizations for medications
• Utilize EMR system
• Chaperone patient procedures as necessary
• Admin duties - process orders, review referrals, scanning charts, spreadsheets in Excel

Requirements:

• 2+ years of clinical experience
• Active BLS certification
• Active RN license

Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

Compensation: $30/hr- $42/hr depending on experience

Benefits:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
