Overview of Daily Duties:

WILL CONSIDER IR RN, PACU RN, OR PRE OP RN

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent and compassionate care to every patient and family member obtaining care in our Interventional Radiology center through assessing and monitoring the care of patients. The Registered Nurse effectively coordinates the care of patients in accordance with physician orders and established procedures. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for preparing patients for procedure, administration of sedation and monitoring, and/or recovering a patient from the procedure depending on daily assignment.

OUTCOMES

* In a fast-paced environment, be able to manage various simultaneous tasks including analyzing accurate clinical information, identifying symptoms and changes to take appropriate action in a timely manner, and working independently with physician guidance.
* Administration of sedative agents to ensure the patient is comfortable during procedure in
accordance with physician orders.
* Use independent judgement to deliver sound clinical decisions, while simultaneously meeting patient needs and adhering to facility policies and procedures.
* Creates an environment of inclusion and trust for diverse groups to enable effective
communication with colleagues and appropriate patient/ family education.
* Able to utilize feedback to learn and adapt, while remaining self-aware regarding their own
actions and resulting impact.
* Thrive in an accelerated change agility environment with the ability to learn and adopt new
responsibilities based on shifting demands.
