Job description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing both direct and indirect nursing care, including health maintenance, patient education, counseling, and planning for optimal patient functioning and comfort. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, leadership qualities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the clinical team to meet both immediate needs and long-term growth objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments by obtaining medical history, conducting tests, and making relevant observations.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient conditions and educate patients on test results, care plans, and prescribed medications.
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision-making in triaging sick patients, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Administer medications, tests, and treatments safely and effectively as ordered.
  • Educate patients and families about healthcare regimens, disease prevention, test results, medication management, diet, exercise, and other aspects of their care plan.
  • Exhibit leadership and initiative in problem-solving independently and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current and valid RN license.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $40+ hourly (depending on experience)

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm

Location: Boston, MA 02128

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment.
