Job description

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Monroe, Washington. The focus of this role is on dialysis treatment and direct patient care. Nurses will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering dialysis treatments, and managing patient care. As charge nurse for the assigned shifts, the nurse will ensure proper clinic operations and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct morning checks, including water quality and emergency supplies, prior to patient arrival.
  • Assess patient conditions, addressing unstable conditions, and communicating with healthcare providers.
  • Administer medications and provide dialysis treatments to patients.
  • Serve as charge nurse during shifts, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
  • Work with care coordinators and Dialysis Clinic Managers (DCMs) to ensure optimal patient care and treatment.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Degree: Degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ASN acceptable).
  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or Multistate Nurse Compact License (please include credential #).
  • Certifications: Current CPR and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Experience:
    • New grads may be accepted at some locations.
    • Ideal Target: RN with 1-3 years of experience.
    • Perfect Candidate: RN with 1+ years of dialysis experience.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Hemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis.
  • Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing.

  • Punctual and reliable

Schedule/Shift:

  • 10am - 11pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday
