We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for contract positions in their dialysis clinics located in Poulsbo, WA. Nurses at PSKC will be responsible for direct patient care, focusing on dialysis treatment and related responsibilities. Each RN will have primary responsibility for patient care within their assigned location, which may include assessing and managing patient needs, collaborating with care coordinators and Dialysis Clinic Managers (DCMs), and ensuring the quality of care in line with PSKC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform morning checks (water quality, emergency supplies) before patient arrival.
• Assess and manage patient care, identifying and responding to any potentially unstable conditions.
• Communicate with providers, administer medications, and manage care plans.
• Collaborate with care coordinators and DCMs to ensure patient needs are met.
• Serve as the charge nurse for assigned shifts, ensuring efficient clinic operations.
• Handle assigned primary patients and participate in ongoing care plan assessments.
• Manage dialysis treatment, including any emergencies that may arise during patient care.

Schedule/Shift:
Available Schedules:

• 5am - 6pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
• 11am - 6pm, Thursday, Saturday (Minimum hours for part-timers can be worked out)
• 5am - 3pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• 1pm - 11pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Must Have Qualifications:

• Degree: Degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ASN acceptable).
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or Multistate Nurse Compact License (include credential #).
• Certifications: Current CPR and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Experience:
  • New grads may be accepted at some locations.
  • Ideal Target: RN with 1-3 years of nursing experience.
  • Perfect Candidate: RN with 1+ years of dialysis experience.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Hemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis.
• Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing.
