Location:

• Camden, NJ
• Voorhees, NJ
  (Note: Must be able to cover both locations with the schedule below.)

Schedule/Shift:

• Camden, NJ (Elementary School): 3 days a week - 6 hours per day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8:15 am - 2:15 pm)
• Voorhees, NJ (K-8th grade school): 1 day a week - 5.5 hours (Wednesday, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain health records in compliance with New Jersey state law for non-public schools.
• Provide emergency care for injuries and illnesses, using professional judgment to ensure student safety.
• Administer medication and treatments according to approved policies.
• Conduct mandatory health screenings and follow up with necessary referrals.
• Communicate effectively with faculty, parents, and students regarding health services.
• Serve as a health resource for students, their families, and school staff.
• Compile reports on health services delivered and submit them to the Nurse Coordinator.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a school environment.
• Caring, compassionate demeanor with a focus on student well-being.
