Circulating Registered Nurse

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Pay: $40-$47/hr + sign on bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (No Weekends, No Holidays)

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at a busy surgery center in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of cases, including specialties such as Endoscopy, Orthopedic, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate in the Operating Room to assist with nursing support and ensure the smooth flow of surgeries.
  • Work across a variety of specialties, including Endo, Ortho, Plastic, Derm, and Gastro.
  • Assist with patient education, prepping patients for surgery, and monitoring patients during the perioperative period.
  • Support surgical staff by coordinating the OR, ensuring proper instrument setup, and assisting in both pre-op and post-op care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized perioperative patient care plans.
  • Assess patient status throughout their perioperative episode of care.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Occasional flexibility required for case flow)
  • No weekends, no holidays - Enjoy work-life balance!

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum 1 year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience required.
  • Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
  • BLS required (ACLS/PALS can be obtained post-hire).
  • ASN or BSN acceptable.
  • Experience in multispecialty OR preferred (Ortho experience is a plus).
