Job description

Job Title: Primary Care Nurse (RN/LPN)

Location: Lynn, MA

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:15 pm

Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

Compensation:

  • LPN: $25.75 - $34.66 per hour, depending on experience
  • RN: $34.50 - $46.43 per hour, depending on experience

Overview:

Are you an experienced RN or LPN passionate about patient care and education? Do you want to make a difference in the community while enjoying competitive pay and excellent benefits? We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with both adult and pediatric patients in a supportive, smaller team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage patients by phone or in person to determine the urgency and level of care required.
  • Perform patient procedures, assess health status, and provide comprehensive health education to patients and their families.
  • Communicate abnormal test results to providers and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Track and document patient progress, ensuring effective and timely care.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to maintain clinic flow and meet patient needs.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Valid RN or LPN License in MA
  • Experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Care, or Community Health
  • Comfort with administering vaccines
  • Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) preferred
