Job description

Location: San Fernando

Pay: $95,680 - $116,480 & Benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Anesthetic certification preferred
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of California
  • CPR Certification

Job Description

  • Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients
  • Patient screening and assessment of oral health conditions including review of health history
  • Assess dental conditions and treatment of teeth and gums
  • Deliver direct patient care to patients using established dental hygiene procedures
  • Apply preventative materials to teeth (sealants and fluoride) and topical applications of drugs to the surface tissues and exposed surfaces of teeth
  • Clean teeth including scaling and polishing
  • Advise patients on proper home care and the treatment of teeth and gums to maintain good oral health
  • Document dental history and chief complaints including reporting pertinent observations
  • Document lab procedures and ensure follow- up on results.
  • Administer local anesthetic as needed.
