Job description

Recovery Cycle Specialist

Location: Creve Coeur, Missouri
Pay: $17-20/hr

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Recovery Cycle Specialist to manage medical bill submissions, recover outstanding payments, and maintain effective communication with payers.

Schedule/Shift: Flexible shifts after training: 7 am - 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of billed cases to conclusion.
  • Confirm bill receipt and update case statuses.
  • Verify and maintain accurate payer information.
  • Track payment statuses and amounts from payers.
  • Handle appeals and denials as needed.
  • Document all communications and actions taken.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred experience in recovery cycle management.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Call center experience or similar phone-based role.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance/medical billing terminology.
