Duration: 6 month Contract to Hire
Location: 100% Remote (EST Preferred)
Travel: Up to 30% of the time

Full Time Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000 / year (hourly rates commensurate with annual compensation)


ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE

Medix is currently seeking a Radiology Imaging Products Trainer for a contract to hire opportunity with one of our best healthcare clients

Our client is a large health system with 18 operational hospitals and 300+ sites of care. The health system recently acquired a number of hospitals, and that has spun up needs to train and educate Radiologists and RTs on the imaging workflow standards (~150 total newly onboarded)

This role will be serving as a full-time Educator / Trainer for newly onboardwed Radiologists, as well as the greater enterprise for all updates/changes to the enterprise imaging platforms: Philips PACS and the Nuance suite (PowerScribe 360, PowerShare). Knowledge of clinical imaging workflows is necessary in order to accurately document and build training materials.

This role will be traveling up to 30% of the time to the Southeastern US to provide in-person training for clinical professionals in Radiology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing training materials for Radiology Imaging workflows, DICOM and PACS
  • Traveling up to 30% to provide in-person, classroom training for Radiology PACS and 3rd party Imaging Applications
  • Holding formal and ad-hoc trainings to demo and teach Radiologists on a new PACS platform - Philips Intellispace PACS
  • Training and educating Radiologists on the standard dictation platform - Nuance PowerScribe 360
  • Training and educating Radiologists on the Worklist Orchestration standards - Nuance Workflow Orchestrator (similar to Clario & M*Modal)
  • Training and educating Radiologists on a number of third party modality applications
  • Training Super-users across the health system
  • Taking ownership on communicating workflow changes within the Enterprise Imaging group
  • Creating training for product upgrades and new implementations
  • Contributing to product documentation, "how to" guides, quick-reference guides and other product content


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willing to travel and provide in-person classroom training
  • Required background in clinical Radiology Imaging Workflows
  • Experienced with PACS, DICOM and and Imaging Applications
  • Experience building training materials
  • Experience training on Modality Worklists and Workflow Orchestrator products (ie Nuance Workflow, Clario, etc)
  • Prior experience training super-users in Radiology
  • Strong teaching / learning & Development skills
  • Excellent communication skills
