Radiologic Technologist

The Radiologic Technologist provides professional radiology support for patients, giving our physicians access to adequate x-ray detail to provide immediate diagnostic information to the patient. Must use technical procedures to perform hand and upper extremity x-rays and work closely with patients, always using professionalism.

***Must have an active IN State Licensure in Radiologic Technology

Responsibilities:

• Ensures confidentiality of medical records.
• Keeps workspace and radiographic equipment clean and orderly.
• Answers telephone professionally and in a courteous manner.
• Returns all messages the same day received.
• Positions and takes quality x-rays of the hand and upper extremity as ordered by our physicians.
• Keeps abreast of new views specific to our practice.
• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms.
• Ensures appropriate charges for all x-rays are documented on the fee ticket for each patient.
• Provides support for satellite coverage as needed.
• Copies x-rays as needed.
• Provides adequate supplies for x-ray department and satellite locations.
• Equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Assists at Team Stations, Welcome Desk and Registration as needed.
• Performs other duties deemed necessary by manager.

Schedule:

• Talent will be required to go to 2 locations: Harcourt (Mon-Wed & Fri) and Kokomo (Thurs)
• Part-time (approximately 32 to 36 hours per week)
• Monday - Friday, with the option to pick up additional hours/locations/days as available
• No major holidays or on-call
