Location: Harvey, Louisiana

Non-travel based role- full-time opening

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p- no weekends and no on call!

Compensation: Competitive pay ranging from $30-40/h pending years of experience

Setting: Outpatient- surgery center

Position Overview:

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging exams and administering radiation therapy, primarily using fluoroscopy with a C-arm. The RT supports compliance by collaborating with radiologists, administrators, and the Clinical Director.

Key tasks:

• Efficiently organize time, equipment, and supplies, ensuring accurate equipment use.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Confirm proper radiology techniques and standards.
• Manage inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment.
• Use appropriate shielding devices and post warning signs as required.
• Monitor and document equipment maintenance, including exposure badges, fluoroscopy equipment, and protective gear integrity.
• Clean and prepare rooms between cases, following safety protocols.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Radiology
• Valid ARRT certification
• Active and current Radiologic Technologist license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with electronic medical record systems or strong database management skills
