Summary Of Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant to support our research team in a dynamic clinical setting. This role involves working directly with patients, assisting research staff with clinical trial activities, and ensuring adherence to study protocols.
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and schedule patient visits based on study timelines and protocol requirements.
-Prepare visit-specific documentation and assist in maintaining accurate patient charts.
-Support Clinical Research team in patient care and study management.
-Collect, record, and transcribe study data, including adverse events and concomitant medications, into electronic case report forms.
-Administer patient questionnaires as required by study protocols.
-Conduct or assist with study-specific procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs).
-Process and ship biological samples to laboratories per protocol guidelines.
-Assist with informed consent processes, including obtaining re-consent when necessary.
-Request and manage medical records needed for reporting serious adverse events.
-Complete sponsor-mandated training and certifications as needed.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the research team.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Previous clinical research experience.
Background in ophthalmology or optometry is a plus.

Hours: Monday - Friday; Normal Business Hours; Onsite 5 Days a Week
