Aurora, IL 60502

Monday - Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM

Pay: $19-21/HR

Duration: 6 month contract to direct hire

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or culinary training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or laboratory environment is advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute Test Plans: Follow established procedures to conduct tests and create samples accurately.
• Weigh Ingredients: Measure ingredients precisely using a scale and taring techniques.
• Select Equipment: Choose the correct equipment, such as scales and pans, for accurate testing results.
• Document Results: Maintain detailed and accurate records of test results.
• Clean Equipment: Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned after use for yourself and others.
• Monitor Ingredients: Track ingredient levels and report needs to the manager or food scientist.
• Verify Codes: Check that all ingredients are properly coded and report any issues.
• Support Production: Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment in the pilot plant.
• Perform Tasks: Complete assigned testing tasks and other related requests.
• Collect Data: Gather and input data as required, and support sample evaluations.
• Handle Samples: Prepare samples for customer evaluation and manage their shipment.
