Sunday - Thursday, 10PM to 6:30AM

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of experience inspecting in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with documentation processes.
  • Willingness to work 3rd shift long-term.
  • High School diploma / GED.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring all product documentation is accurately completed before signing off as completed.
  • Regular communication with the Supervisor as per Quality Manual training documents.
  • Verifying and approving production start-ups on shop orders, including reviewing work instructions, inspecting flock or bristle heads and runner cuts, and ensuring measurements meet specifications.
  • Conducting sixty (60) minute quality inspections on shop orders, checking flocking, cuts, etc., or for bulk bags, bulk boxes, tray boxes, and molding parts for tips, cavities, water pass, syringe fit, etc.
  • Ensuring proper lot number matches of materials.
  • Properly documenting and communicating material and document failures, and implementing necessary process changes until the product passes inspection.
  • Conducting packaging and final release inspections and ensuring shop orders are properly completed.
  • Collaborating closely with Lead staff to ensure finished goods receive proper inspections as per policy.
  • Working collaboratively with other inspectors throughout the shift to ensure all duties and inspections are met.
  • Cross-training on all inspection duties.
  • Assisting in the training of new employees.
  • Fulfilling any other job duties as assigned.
