Quality Control Technician - 3rd shift

Job description

Looking for a 3rd shift Quality Control Technician who is either looking to get into the pharmaceutical industry or has prior experience. Experience is not required for this role but preferred. Ideally anyone with GMP experience in food and beverage, cosmetic, or pharmacetucial.

Schedule: 3rd shift

  • M-F 11pm to 7:30 am

Job Duties:

  • Conducting environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and personnel.
  • Managing the incubation, enumeration, and verification of agar plates.
  • Reviewing analytical data from both in-house and contract laboratories and maintaining accurate records.
  • Effectively communicating with multiple departments to ensure seamless quality processes.
  • Supporting investigations related to Out-of-Specifications (OOS), deviations, or errors.
  • Assisting with process validations and operator media fills, including enumeration, incubation, and observation of media-filled units.
  • Participating in the review of process performance and product quality while advocating for continuous improvement.
  • Consistently performing aseptic gowning procedures with precision and reliability.
  • Understanding and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational GMP training, and quality protocols.
  • Accurately and legibly recording critical data on a consistent basis.
  • Passing an eye exam verifying 20/20 near vision (corrected or uncorrected) and the ability to perceive color accurately.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a quality role within a cGMP or GMP environment. Experience with sterile injectable products is preferred; experience in food, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals will also be considered.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree with a focus on sciences is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage changing priorities and circumstances effectively.
  • Must successfully pass an English competency test.
