Quality Control Technician

Alsip, IL 60803

Monday - Friday, 6AM to 2:30PM

Pay: $20-21/HR

Duration: 6 month contract to direct hire

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to communicate with resources in other departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct standard lab tests using documented methods to determine pass/fail for further processing.
• Provide batch correction information for products outside specification, escalating failures to QC Test Lead.
• Document test results in QC test log as directed by QC Test Lead.
• Undertake special projects and tasks for product investigations and improvement activities under QC Test Lead's direction.
• Maintain work area through general housekeeping duties.
• Write basic project reports using established format.
• Follow non-conforming item process, trouble processing, and CAPA procedures as necessary.
• Participate in GQM Continuous Improvement activities.
• Uphold GQM business management system principles and practices, including QC Thinking, Kaizen Innovation, and corporate philosophy of GC no Kokoro.
• Participate in regulatory compliance activities like quality audits, adverse event reporting, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices.
• Perform other assigned duties.
